The 1st graders and Mrs. Denise Carlson enjoyed making butter on Wednesday afternoon...and sampling it on crackers!

Thank you, Teachers, for all you do! Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!

Thank you, Griggs-Steele Empowerment Zone (GSEZ), for sponsoring a field trip to the Oscar-Zero Launch Control Center, part of the Ronald Reagan Minuteman Missile State Historic Site for our Juniors & Seniors & their Social Studies teacher, Mr. Tyler Gustin, last week. Oscar-Zero is an important part of the history and culture of our state, nation, and world. The students enjoyed learning about a military strategy for nuclear deterrence that was operating in “our own backyard” to which very few people were privy. Because the missile site has become a ND State Historic Site, our students have the good fortune and opportunity to tour the facility and learn about its operations during the cold-war era!
