FFA Members & any other students willing to volunteer to help with a Food Drive for the Steele Co. Food Pantry. The drive will be held on Monday, 9/26 and Wednesday, 9/27 afterschool. Both Finley-Sharon and Hope-Page FFA Chapters will be part of the drive; anyone wishing to contribute to the drive should watch for a bag hanging on a door knob at their home or donations may be brought to the schools. Thank you to all who help with this drive which will benefit those in Steele County!

We were fortunate to host an Elementary GBB game here at Finley-Sharon on Tues., Sept. 20th. Some of the F-S Afterschool Club kiddos led the crowd in a cheer during half-time. Both 5th & 6th grade teams won their games against Larimore. Way to go, Patriots! Finley-Sharon will be hosting JH, C., JV, & Varsity VB matches against GCC-Midkota on Thurs., Sept. 22nd beginning at 3:30pm. Thanks for a great Homecoming Week last week! Congrats, again, to King Xyler & Queen Justina. The students enjoyed various activities here at F-S and the royalty's participation at half-time of the Homecoming football game . The Patriots beat the H-N Thunder 70-20! Elem Boys BB Coach, Katie Richards, is now taking names of those who would like to play this winter. This is for players in grades 5 & 6. Further details will be sent home with students later, but for now, please email Coach Richards at richardssioux41@gmail.com, if your 5th or 6th grader would like to play. Transportation to practices and games will be on your own.
There will be a Vaccination Clinic at the F-S School on Thurs., Sept. 22nd. The Steele Co. Public Health office has provided a list and K-6 students have been given forms, notifying them if they are in need of an immunization. Parents, please ask your son or daughter if they received forms. You will need to complete those prior to next Thursday and return them to the school office. Thank you!
