Announcements for Everyone:  

  • Please note: The JH GBB game @ MPCG-HS vs HCV originally scheduled for Jan. 27th has been rescheduled for Mon., Feb. 7th at 4:30/5:30.


  • The JH BBB game @ Hillsboro that was postponed yesterday has been rescheduled for Thurs., Feb. 17th at 4:00/5:00.


  • We have an early dismissal day today.  There is no Afterschool Club and buses will run shortly after 1:30pm. 


  • There is no Confirmation at Finley Lutheran today.

Wed., Feb. 2nd: Early Dismissal Day due to Teacher Inservice-1:30pm

Fri., Feb. 4th: We will celebrate the 100th Day of School!  Dress like you are 100!

Also, note…the Book Fair will be open in the Library next Monday, Feb. 7th-11th, before & after school from 8:00-8:25 and 3:25-3:45.

 

Announcements for High School:

  • FFA Members: There will be an FFA Meeting for 8-12th graders in Mrs. Erman’s classroom during 4th period tomorrow (Thursday). It will take most of the period, as you are planning FFA week activities and have some other things to discuss.



  • If you are interested in the Arts or Music, it’s time to start thinking about International Music Camp! Registration is now open. This camp is held at the International Peace Gardens near Bottineau and there are many programs offered that are tailored to your interests.  And the Finley Legion Auxiliary will help you with the cost, if you are interested in attending.  Go to this website to learn more! https://internationalmusiccamp.com/


  • Wanted: High School students who wish to develop their leadership and advocacy skills and make a big difference in their community! The Break Free Youth Action Summit is a day where youth and adult coordinators come together to learn about tobacco prevention policy and how to be successful youth advocates in their state and local communities. Spend a morning learning from a national speaker how to prevent the next generation from a lifelong addiction to nicotine. The Youth Action Summit will be held in Fargo on Tues., March 29th at the Avalon Event Center.  Registration fees would be covered by Steele Co. Public Health and the ND Dept. of Health.
