- Tuesday: It is Fire Prevention Week! Smoke alarms are a key part of a home fire escape plan. When there is a fire, smoke spreads fast. - October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Enter a decorated pumpkin for Finley Motors' Annual "Pink Pumpkin Contest/Fundraiser!" The deadline to enter a pumpkin is Mon., Oct. 18th, and they will be on display for voting through the week of Oct. 25th. Both Finley & Mayville locations will be holding the contest! This is for kids & adults!

Announcements for Elementary:
- Reminder—there will be a 5th & 6th grade boys basketball meeting for players & parents today at MPCG-HS at 5:30pm and practice will begin on Mon., Oct. 11th.
- Grades 1-3 will be going to Mayville State University on Friday for Art and PE activities. They will be having a sack lunch and will return in the early afternoon.
- The F-S Elementary will be visiting the Finley Fire Department on Friday afternoon. More info. to come.
