*There will be a Baccalaureate Service this Sunday, May 16th honoring the Class of 2021 at Finley Lutheran Church. The service will be at 4:30 pm, with a picnic to follow.
*The Seniors have their “Senior Trip Day” planned for Wed., May 19th. They will be leaving around 7:30 am for Fargo. Mrs. Anderson will be going with them.
*We will have Last Day of School Awards on Thurs., May 20th! Elementary awards will start at 9:00 am and HS Awards at 10:00 am. This is open for family members to attend. (Masks are required.)

*It’s “Finish Strong Fun Day!” There will be activities planned for grades K-6 this afternoon. Grades 7-12 will be able to use the inflatables on the playground this morning, have ice cream after lunch today (go to the hallway by Mrs. Erman’s room), and check out the race car. Some of you may also be helping with the elementary this afternoon. We are proud of our students and continue to encourage you to “Finish Strong!!” The finish line is in sight!!
*The Finley Public Library is planning to host Story Hour on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays in June, July, & August. We have had some volunteers to read and would love to have a few more. Anyone in grade 6 through adult would be welcome to help out. (High School Students--This type of volunteer work looks great on college applications!!) Let Kelsey Christian know if you are interested.
*Looking ahead…students in grades 7-12 will be given check out sheets next week. All bills must be paid, laptops and other equipment turned in, and your teachers need to sign off on each of your classes. You will turn your signed sheet in to Kelsey when you have everything completed.
