Congratulations, Mrs. Tracy Larson, who has been named Steele County's "Teacher of the Year!" Mrs. Larson is our Title I teacher, along with also teaching 7th grade Math.
State School Superintendent Kirsten Baesler says teachers in 40 of North Dakota's 53 counties are being honored as County Teachers of the Year for 2021. Baesler says the County Teacher of the Year program is part of an effort to bring more recognition to teachers and celebrate the teaching profession. All of the 40 teachers will be eligible for consideration as North Dakota’s State Teacher of the Year. That honor will be given this fall. Well deserved, Mrs. Larson!
