Congrats to our Spartan Football team on their win last Friday night against Hankinson! The team will play at Larimore this Friday night. There are guidelines for spectators who attend the games. Info. for the game at Larimore is on the school website and a link is here.
We would like to welcome some new students to Finley-Sharon! In Kindergarten, we have Gideon, Theodore, Madden, Annabelle, Madi, Sage, Hailey, Kinley, & Jared. In 3rd grade, we'd like to welcome Gunner & Anita, and in 6th grade, let's welcome Isabelle, Joselyn, & Bailee. We'd also like to recognize 2 new staff members...Mr. Gustin in the High School History room and Mrs. Carlson in 6th grade. We are "over the moon" to have you all here!
Elementary Volleyball will start on August 27th. Any girl in grades 4-6 is eligible to play, but must have completed the Physical Form A (grade 4) or Form B (grades 5 & 6 if the had a physical last year) before the first day of practice. Practices will be after school until 5:30 pm. Please come with practice clothes, shoes and a water bottle. Transportation to practice will be provided. Please let the F-S School office know if your child will participate.
Parent-Student Handbooks will be sent home with the youngest in each family this week. Please read it over and complete the back page. Return the back page to the office by Fri., Sept. 4th. Thank you!
High School Students: Please note the following lunch dismissal schedule. Juniors and Seniors-12:07; Freshmen & Sophomores-12:09; 7th & 8th Graders-12:11. Please remain in the lunchroom after you are done eating. You may leave when the bell rings or your 5th pd. teacher lets you know to come to the classroom.
Afterschool Club will begin on Mon., Aug. 31st! The program runs afterschool dismisses until 5:00 pm, with pick up no later than 5:30 pm.
Daily Reminders:
If you aren’t riding the bus, please do not arrive at school until 8:10. Breakfast doesn’t start until 8:10. Thank you!
LUNCH TIME: Please sit in the areas that are designated.
IF YOU MOVE, YOU MASK! DO NOT SHARE DESKS, KEEP SOCIALLY DISTANCED, AND BE SPATIALLY AWARE OF WHERE YOU ARE IN RELATION TO OTHERS.
HS Students who would like to make class changes, please stop by the office for a DROP/ADD slip.
