Announcements:
- *Reading Month is here and it is SWEET!
*Today is “Valentine’s Day—Wear Red!” We have an early dismissal today at 1:30pm for teacher inservice. There is no afterschool club and buses will run shortly after we dismiss.
*Reading Pages Update: As of now, Willy Wonka is standing at about 18,000 pages of our 30,000 page goal. Keep reading everyone!
*February is Heart Health Month and that means it’s time again for the Kids Heart Challenge! All elementary students in K-6 will have a Kids Heart Challenge kick-off assembly in the gym this Thursday, February 15 at 2:00pm.
*The Steele County Spelling Contest is also this Thursday…9:15am in our school library. Good luck to Kathryn, Cole, & Patrick.
*The ND Association of Secondary School Principals has announced the 2024 ND Academic All-State Teams and we’d like to congratulate Damien Evenson for qualifying as an Honorable Mention! 190 HS seniors were nominated by their principal and competed for this statewide honor. This is based on grade point averages, ACT scores, extracurricular activities, community involvement & leadership qualities. Congrats, again, Damien!
