- *Reading Month is here and it is SWEET!
*Today’s Reading Month Trivia:
Grades K-2: What board game features characters Lord Licorice & Queen Frostine? –Candy Land Congrats, Layla!
Grades 3-6: Which candy has the slogan, “How many licks does it take to get to the center of…” --a Tootsie Pop Congrats, Carsyn!
*Wednesday is “Valentine’s Day—Wear Red!” We have an early dismissal on Wednesday… 1:30pm for teacher inservice. There is no afterschool club and buses will run shortly after we dismiss.
* February is Heart Health Month and that means it’s time again for the Kids Heart Challenge! All elementary students in K-6 will have a Kids Heart Challenge kick-off assembly in the gym this Thursday, February 15 at 2:00pm.
*The Steele County Spelling Contest is also this Thursday…9:00am in our school library. Good luck to Kathryn, Cole, & Patrick. You have a couple more days to study!
*Congratulations to the Patriots GBB team…the Dist. 4 Champs! They will now play in the Region 2 Tournament at Devils Lake next week. Great job!
